Kim Parker, Doug Gordon, Joe Mozeris, and Tom Medlin led the list of champions as the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Pacific Division event at Sonoma Raceway. Mozeris and Medlin both won a pair of races on the doubleheader weekend.

The NHRA has announced the postponement of Sportsman competition at both the Dodge Mile-High NHRA Nationals and the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals, the cancellation of the Division 5 event in Brainerd, and the addition of the Division 3 Lucas Oil Series regional to the new Indianapolis event Aug. 6-9.
