Kalitta, Todd double up in Seattle; Anderson wins and takes over Pro Stock lead

Funny Car’s J.R. Todd won for the first time in 2026 on Sunday at the Muckleshoot Casino Resort NHRA Northwest Nationals to finish off a Kalitta Motorsports nitro sweep with teammate Doug Kalitta, and Greg Anderson (Pro Stock) also won the 12th of 20 races during the 2026 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season.

Joey Grose takes a wild ride in Pro Stock accident in qualifying in Seattle

During the final Pro Stock qualifying session at the Muckleshoot Casino Resort NHRA Northwest Nationals, Joey Grose’s car crossed the centerline and made contact with the left guard wall before flipping over on its roof. He was examined on-site by NHRA medical personnel before being transported to a local medical facility.
