Crew Chief Confidential

The Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals held at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis held up to its billing as one of the most exciting races on tour. NHRA reporter Lewis Bloom caught up with all four class-winning crew chiefs after the race.

Bobby Lagana Jr., assistant crew chief to Richard Hogan, helped tune Steve Torrence to his first ever win at the Big Go and the sweep after scoring the NHRA Traxxas Nitro Shootout win on Saturday. In Funny Car, it was the tuning duo of Todd Smith and Jon Oberhofer for first-time Indy Funny Car winner J.R. Todd. In the Pro Stock classes, it was Tomi Lane for Drew Skillman and Matt Hines for Pro Stock Motorcycle winner Eddie Krawiec, the only repeat Indy winner of the four.
