The experts at Alt Sports Data have set the opening lines for this week’s event in New England, and they have chosen reigning world champs Antron Brown, Austin Prock, and Greg Anderson as pre-race favorites.
Below are the opening odds provided by Alt Sports Data.
(Note: In American sports betting, odds are typically expressed with a plus (+) or minus (–) symbol followed by a number. For example, +200 signifies the amount a bettor could win if wagering $100. If the bet works out, the player will receive a total payout of $300; $200 profit + $100 initial stake.)
TOP FUEL

Handicappers have put reigning world champ Antron Brown in the top spot for most of the season, and he’s once again the favorite in New England. The Matco Tools team won the season opener in Gainesville and reached the final quad in both four-wide events in Las Vegas and Charlotte. Brown, with a 10-5 record on the season, opens at +500 odds, which means a $10 wager would return a total of $60.
The competition at the top of the Top Fuel class is extremely close, and that is measured in the opening odds as Brown is followed closely by Chicago winner Tony Stewart, Shawn Langdon, Doug Kalitta, and Justin Ashley. Stewart and Langdon, each with two wins this season, are priced at +700, while Kalitta is +750 and Ashley is +800, along with two-time world champion Brittany Force.
A bit further down the order, Josh Hart and Dan Mercier represent solid value picks at +1,400 and +1,800, respectively, while Ida Zetterström is also a long shot at +2,000.

FUNNY CAR

Following their all-team final round in Chicago, the oddsmakers have labeled John Force Racing teammates Austin Prock and Jack Beckman as the favorites, with opening odds of +250 and +600, respectively, giving them a slight edge in what is a very competitive Funny Car field.
Prock, the performance leader for much of the first six races, has been favored at every event this season and has delivered wins at the two four-wide races in Las Vegas and Charlotte to go with a pair of runner-up finishes in Phoenix and Chicago.
Beckman also has a pair of wins in Pomona and Chicago to go along with a semifinal in Phoenix to keep Prock within sight in the NHRA Mission Foods Funny Car standings.
There is a logjam behind the leaders that includes contenders Paul Lee, Spencer Hyde, Ron Capps, Bob Tasca III, Matt Hagan, Chad Green, and J.R. Todd. They are all priced between +1,000 and +1,400, a sure indicator of the parity that currently exists in the Funny Car class. Hyde might represent the best value on the board as he lost early in Chicago, but he made one of the quickest runs of the day with an impressive 3.88 in Jim Head’s Mustang.
Cruz Pedregon is coming off a solid semifinal finish in Chicago, and he’s priced at +2,500, providing a solid value pick. The same can be said for Alexis DeJoria at +3,000.

PRO STOCK

After taking the Chicago race off, the Factory Hot Rods in Pro Stock are back on the tour in Epping, where the class will try to put the brakes on runaway leaders Greg Anderson and teammate Dallas Glenn, who have appeared in every final round so far this season.
Not surprisingly, Anderson and Glenn are big favorites at +165 each, which means a $10 wager would return $26.50. With Anderson and Glenn labeled as such big favorites, there is value in other drivers, including Dave Connolly, who is subbing for the injured Eric Latino. Connolly opened at +450, and while he hasn’t raced much in the last few years, he is a proven winner. The same goes for Matt Hartford, who is at +500.
The Elite Motorsports team has struggled out of the gate in 2025, but there has recently been light at the end of the tunnel, and that’s reflected in their Epping odds. Aaron Stanfield is the highest-rated Elite driver at +1,000, while six-time world champion Erica Enders is at +1,400, and Jeg Coughlin Jr., Troy Coughlin Jr., and Greg Stanfield are each listed at +1,500.
