The 2025 Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show closed in powerful fashion Saturday as the NHRA on FOX Stage delivered a final full day of live programming, blending major announcements, technical insight, grassroots storytelling, and a clear look toward the future of drag racing. Broadcasting from NHRA Booth 7,032 and streaming live on NHRA.com and YouTube, Day Three reinforced why NHRA remains central to the American motorsports ecosystem.
Saturday opened with significance at 9:00 a.m. as Ryan Martin, Shawn Ellington, and Scott Taylor took the stage for a Major Series Announcement, setting the tone for a day focused on growth and opportunity. That momentum continued immediately with Randy and Megan Meyer of Randy Meyer Racing (9:10), followed by diesel drag racer Maddie Graves (9:15), highlighting the sport’s expanding reach across disciplines.
At 9:30 a.m., Pat Musi joined Chuck MacDougall of Lemon’s Headers for a conversation rooted in engine development, performance philosophy, and decades of winning experience. Track operations and racer development came into focus with Chevy Reeves of RAD Torque Raceway (9:45), before Comp Eliminator racer Taylor Chomiski (10:00) provided insight into one of NHRA’s most technically demanding categories.
Saturday’s program also reflected the heart of the sport. Eddie Baugher of Racers for Christ (10:15) shared the organization’s ongoing mission within the pits, followed by Kurt Hettinga of PJH Trackbite (10:30) discussing traction, preparation, and consistency. NHRA Factory X racers Chris and Del Holbrook took the stage at 10:45, showcasing one of the most exciting and manufacturer-driven categories in modern drag racing.
Heritage and history were front and center at 11:00 a.m. with Wayne Ramay, the NHRA Heritage Series A/Fuel champion, followed by Jason Bruce of BluePrint Engines (11:10), who discussed crate-engine performance and accessibility. At 11:15, Jaren Mott delivered a Top Fuel Announcement that captured attention on the show floor and online.
The late morning continued with Shaun Umscheid, better known as the “What No Way Guy” (11:30), before Clay Millican and Jeff Lutz joined forces at 11:45 for a “Build for the Future” conversation focused on innovation, mentorship, and sustainability within the sport.
Safety and responsibility remained a priority as Hong Zhang of the Snell Foundation took the stage at noon, followed by Dan Bailey of EPIC Racewear (12:15). Pat Topolinski and Frankie Forman of Engine Power TV (12:30) bridged entertainment and education, while NHRA Pro Stock driver Matt Latino (12:45) and Top Alcohol Dragster driver Jerry Kumre (1:00) brought the discussion back to on-track competition.
The afternoon featured Brad Rounds of T&D Machine Products (1:15), PRI President Jim Liaw (1:30), and NHRA Funny Car driver Justin Schriefer (1:45), before Mike Good of PRI returned at 2:00 to reflect on the show’s impact. Chevy Reeves closed the NHRA on FOX Stage at 2:15, bringing the conversation full circle.
