Lenny Lottig clinched the Holley EFI Factory X world championship in round one of the Texas NHRA FallNationals in his Bill Jenkins Grumpy’s Toy Tribute Camaro to lock up his first title. The title was his after his closest challenger, Jesse Alexandra, lost in round one. To be fair, no matter what happened to Alexandra, Lottig only needed to stage his entry to clinch the crown.

Lottig, who scored his first career win in the category last season in Norwalk en route to a third-place finish in the standings, built his 2025 championship resumé on the back of three wins this season, scoring in Charlotte, Richmond, and Reading, and also recorded runner-up finishes in Norwalk and Indy. All told, he reached the final round of five of the year’s first seven events.

“This is definitely one of those life-altering moments that I've always dreamed about,” said Lottig. “Even racing a national event, and then you actually get to compete at this level and drive all over the country and race with all these like-minded people, is an event in itself. And then to actually win one of these is something I never thought I’d be able to do.

“I’ve got the best crew you could think of, and all of the support back home, especially my wife. I’d also like to thank Holley and ARP and Jesel for putting together a pretty wicked class. I just can't thank everybody enough.”

Alexandra and Connor Statler came into the season’s final event with slim hopes that required significantly outqualifying Lottig and hoping for an early exit, neither of which was in the cards to stop the Meyersdale, Pa., racer from clinching the title.
