Courtney Force joined NHRA reporter Lewis Bloom in the Wally Parks NHRA Studio via Skype delivered by Papa John’s to talk about her success in the first three races of the 2017 Mello Yello Countdown to the Championship.
Courtney Force currently sits third in the points, a little over five rounds behind first-place Ron Capps with 12 rounds of racing left in play. Of all the drivers in Funny Car, she has made the biggest move in the points to start the Countdown, moving up three places. Force spoke about her recent success; her second-round loss to her dad, John, in St. Louis on a holeshot; and her team's plan to end a long winless streak in the next three races on tour.
