As a result of competition at the Muckleshoot Casino Resort NHRA Northwest Nationals, seven more drivers locked in their positions in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series Countdown to the Championship playoffs.

Top Fuel racers Leah Pruett and Antron Brown. Funny Car racers Jack Beckman, J.R. Todd, Jordan Vandergriff, and Matt Hagan, and Pro Stock's Greg Stanfield are all now locked in for the playoffs that begin after the Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals.
