Racers For Christ completes Route 66 Road Trip America
Racers For Christ's (RFC) 10-day, nearly 2,500-mile journey followed the 100-year-old (1926-2026) Route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica, connecting with motorsports communities while raising awareness and support for RFC’s mission of serving people in racing.
The trip marked a historic convergence of milestones: Route 66’s 100th anniversary, the NHRA’s 75th anniversary, Racers For Christ’s 55th anniversary, and America’s 250th birthday. Key early stops included Route 66 Raceway (Joliet, IL) and World Wide Technology Raceway (Madison, IL), followed by appearances at Tulsa Raceway Park (Tulsa, OK), Amarillo Dragway (Amarillo, TX), Yearwood Performance in Albuquerque, Winslow’s Standing on the Corner Park (Winslow, AZ), and the In-N-Out Burger Dragstrip (Pomona, CA).
The journey concluded April 3 at the Santa Monica Pier. The public was invited to attend stops along the route, where they could enter to win NHRA event tickets, prizes, and support the ministry through commemorative merchandise.
