Push Start Cacklefest will bring nostalgic race cars to life at Winternationals
NHRA fans attending the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals, the third race of NHRA’s 75th Anniversary season, will get a heavy dose of nostalgia with a showcase of vintage iron that will be fired up on the In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip on Saturday.
The Push Start Cacklefest featuring Hot Rod Reunion/Nitro Revival cars will take place Saturday, just before the third qualifying session, and will help kick off the 75th and 1,000th Funny Car race celebrations.
The Burkholder Brothers Fuel Altered, Glenn Way’s Groundshaker Jr. Fuel Altered, “Kansas John” Wiebe’s Top Fuel dragster, and the Honda of Wilmington Dragster, made famous by NHRA Top 75 driver Danny Ongais, will light the candles and burn some nitro for the Pomona fans.
