The inaugural Dodge NHRA Tour de Michigan brought together racers, performance enthusiasts, and Dodge and Ram owners Thursday for a horsepower-filled journey across the state, culminating at US 131 Motorsports Park and the Dodge NHRA Great Lakes Nationals presented by Mopar.

Participants traveled from across Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio to join the one-day adventure, arriving in an impressive assortment of high-performance cars and trucks. The rolling showcase included Dodge Charger and Challenger Scat Packs, Dodge Demons, Cummins-powered Ram trucks, and other modern and classic performance vehicles.

The tour began at Stellantis North America headquarters in Auburn Hills before heading west toward one of Michigan’s most appropriately named destinations: Hell.

From there, the group continued through Lansing and Grand Rapids before reaching US 131 Motorsports Park in Martin. At every stop, the tour attracted attention and gave participants an opportunity to connect over their shared enthusiasm for Dodge, Ram, Mopar, drag racing, and American performance.

More than a conventional road trip, the Tour de Michigan celebrated the return of NHRA national-event racing to the state for the first time in 66 years. It also demonstrated the connection between the vehicles enthusiasts drive every day, the machines they take to the dragstrip, and the manufacturers that continue to support grassroots and professional motorsports.

The wide range of participating vehicles was part of the event’s appeal. Supercharged Dodge Demons shared the highway with naturally aspirated Scat Packs, while Cummins diesel-powered Ram trucks showed that performance comes in many forms. Whether built for the quarter-mile, the street, towing duty, or all three, every vehicle added something distinctive to the tour.

Upon arriving at US 131 Motorsports Park, participants received special access to the track and the opportunity to experience the facility ahead of the historic Dodge NHRA Great Lakes Nationals presented by Mopar. The arrival transformed the tour from a scenic drive into a genuine race-weekend kickoff.

The message was unmistakable: Michigan remains at the heart of American car caulture—and when NHRA fans are invited to go to Hell and then head for the dragstrip, they are ready to answer the call.
