Track drying efforts have progressed exactly as hoped, with NHRA’s experienced Safety Safari and race control teams executing their plan to perfection. The once-slick surface is on schedule to be ready just in time for the nitro to roll.

Top Fuel dragsters are now scheduled to head to the lanes at 1:00 p.m. for the third qualifying session (Q3) of the Mission Foods NHRA Drag Racing Series. This session marks the first nitro action of the day and promises to be a pivotal moment in setting the stage for Sunday eliminations.

The return of the sun has brought energy back to the pits, with teams across the nitro and Pro Stock pits readying their horsepower machines for one of the most important qualifying opportunities of the weekend. Traction is the name of the game, and NHRA's crew has gone to work ensuring racers have a smooth, safe, and sticky surface.

With temperatures climbing and conditions stabilizing, the expectations are high for low E.T.s and big moves on the qualifying ladder. Fans loading into the grandstands are in for a treat as the most powerful race cars on the planet come to life and lay down their best under the New England sun.

Stay tuned to NHRA.com and NHRA’s social media for real-time updates as Funny Car and Pro Stock follow Top Fuel into Q3 and the 2025 NHRA New England Nationals roar back to life.
