Odds updated for NHRA Mission Foods Professional championships
With 10 of 20 events in the books during the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season, Tony Stewart, Austin Prock, Dallas Glenn, and Gaige Herrera are favored to win Pro championships.
NHRA fans participating in gaming as part of the PlayNHRA initiative continue to have the opportunity to place wagers on the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series champions in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle as the season recently reached the midway point during the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals in Norwalk.
With four regular-season races remaining in addition to the six-race Countdown to the Championship playoffs, there are multiple contenders in each category, and the experts at Alt Sports Data have provided updated odds for those classes.
TOP FUEL

In Top Fuel, the reigning world champ, Antron Brown, was favored at most events this season, but when it comes to the championship, incoming leader Tony Stewart is currently favored at +450, meaning a $10 bet would return $55.00. Stewart has appeared in five finals and has two wins, and he’s led the standings since Chicago.
For all the success that Stewart has had in his sophomore season as an NHRA Pro, his lead over the rest of the field is slim. Justin Ashley, Shawn Langdon, Brittany Force, Brown, and Doug Kalitta are close behind. Ashley, who has suddenly gotten hot, has a price of +500, while Langdon and Force are at +550 and Brown and Kalitta are close behind at +600.
The rest of the Top Fuel field includes Clay Millican, Steve Torrence, Shawn Reed, Josh Hart, and Jasmine Salinas. Millican is priced at +1,000, while Torrence is +1,100 and Reed is +1,400. The long shots are Hart and Salinas at +2,000.

FUNNY CAR

Coming off his fourth Funny Car win of the season, Austin Prock is the favorite to repeat as champion as he’s currently listed at +150, making him a significant favorite. At those odds, a bettor could wager $10.00 in order to return $25.00.
Prock’s teammate, Jack Beckman, is also listed among the favorites at +275, while Phoenix winner Paul Lee is listed at +850. Further down the standings, there is value in several picks, including Matt Hagan at +1,000, J.R. Todd at +1,200, while Bob Tasca III, Ron Capps, and rookie Spencer Hyde are at +1,400.
The Funny Car field also features several notable long shots, including Gainesville winner Chad Green (+2,200), Daniel Wilkerson (+2,500) and Norwalk low qualifier Cruz Pedregon at a robust +6,500.

PRO STOCK

So far this season, Greg Anderson and teammate Dallas Glenn have dominated Pro Stock, and they are the current co-favorites with Anderson at +170 and Glenn at +175. That seems reasonable as no one else had been able to break through for a win until Cory Reed’s Norwalk victory.
Current odds have Reed at +1,000, while Aaron Stanfield and Matt Hartford are priced at +1,100 and six-time champ Erica Enders is at +1,400.
There are several notables among the long shots, including, perhaps most notably, five-time champ Jeg Coughlin Jr., who carries a current price of +2,500, the same as his nephew, Cody Coughlin, who is in his first season in the class. Greg Stanfield, who has five world titles in Super Stock, is also among the long shots at +6,500.

PRO STOCK MOTORCYCLE

Two time and defending Pro Stock Motorcycle champ Gaige Herrera is in the midst of another dominant season with four finals and three wins in the first six events, so it’s little surprise that he’s a large favorite at -200, meaning a wager of $20.00 would return $30.00.
Herrera is likely to win the regular-season title, but he’s got some real competition from Matt Smith, who comes in second at +240, while recent Bristol winner and Norwalk runner-up Richard Gadson is also among the favorites at +500.
Everyone else in the field would be considered a long shot, including Chase Van Sant (+2,200), Angie Smith (+3,300), and Norwalk champ John Hall (+6,500).
