The September issue of NHRA National Dragster, featuring race coverage from the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals and Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals, plus other racing action coast to coast, is now online in digital format and in the mail in its traditional print format to NHRA Members around the world.

The issue covers the final two events of the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series and the battles not only for event wins but also regular-season championships.

Coverage of the Big Go includes not only all of the classes but also all of the special events that make the event, well, special, including the PlayNHRA All-Star Funny Car Callout, the Deecell Comp Clash, and the Sox & Martin Hemi Challenge, as well as the final edition of the Mission #2Fast2Tasty NHRA challenge and a salute to all of the Super Stock and Stock class winners.

ND’s columnists also went deep to talk about their own experiences at the U.S. Nationals, and Top Fuel winner Justin Ashley shares his feelings about the biggest win of his life in our 5 Minutes With interview.

The issue is also packed with results from across the country in a number of other series, including nine different NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series divisional events plus the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series from Firebird Raceway and the Division 4 and Division 6 NHRA Summit Racing Series Finals.

You can also read about August’s National Dragster Sportsman Racer of the Month and learn more about traction compounds, what goes into them, and how they’re applied to the racetrack.
