The July issue of NHRA National Dragster, featuring race coverage from a trio of NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series national events plus other racing action coast to coast, is now online in digital format and in the mail in its traditional print format to NHRA Members around the world.

The issue’s cover salutes the early summer magic that played out at the Super Grip NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals in Bristol, the American Rebel Light Virginia NHRA Nationals in Richmond, and the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals in Norwalk highlighted by three milestone moments: Bristol Pro Stock winner Greg Anderson’s 1,000th round-win and subsequent 110th career victory; the victorious return to Richmond for John Force with Austin Prock’s Funny Car win; and Cory Reed’s emotionally charged Pro Stock win in Norwalk.

National Dragster’s trademark burnout-to-burnout coverage captures all of the glory of the three events across all classes, and the Norwalk coverage also includes the high-dollar GETTRX Pro Stock NHRA All-Star Callout event, plus an in-depth interview with Reed about his wonderful win.

The issue also contains the results from four of the rain-delayed NHRA Gatornationals Sportsman action. One of those winners, Super Stock champ Brenda Grubbs, was also busy penning a new Travels With Brenda column for the issue focusing on the Leibham family.

Also between the covers is in-depth coverage of the Wally Parks NHRA Nostalgia Nationals from Bowling Green, Ky., the NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League’s Right Trailers Western Conference Finals from Texas Motorplex, and a handful of NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series events.

On the topic of Jr. Drag Racing, Sportsman world champ columnist Luke Bogacki gets small with a recount of his annual Jr. Fest “school’s in” seminars for the next generation of racers.
