Joe Morrison guests on latest episode of Talkin’ Funny Cars with Buddy Hull
The award-winning Talkin’ Funny Cars with Buddy Hull television show is back, and this Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 8 p.m. ET and 8 p.m. PT, Buddy Hull sits down with Funny Car driver Joe Morrison. Fans can watch the latest episode on the NHRA FAST Channel. Morrison and Hull talk about their lifelong passion for drag racing as well as how Morrison is changing lives at the track.
“Joe was such a great guest, and I learned a lot about him personally and professionally,” said show host Hull. “He has been a Funny Car fan his whole life, which I loved hearing about. He is also very passionate about helping people, and we get into how he is making a difference in people’s lives and health. We also got a little technical talking about PennGrade 1, his sponsor, and how important oil can be to making these cars really make some magic.”
Season two kicked off last week with Hull as the lead guest, and the show will continue every Wednesday night throughout the NHRA Countdown to the Championship. Following their debut on the NHRA FAST channel, episodes are uploaded to the Talkin’ Funny Cars with Buddy Hull YouTube channel. The interview-style program, hosted by NHRA Professional Funny Car driver Buddy Hull, is available on 13 platforms, including the Roku Channel (USA & Canada), Tubi, Samsung TV Plus, Sling Freestream, and others. Guests in 2025 will include Jim Dunn, Jeff Diehl, Alexis DeJoria, Tim Wilkerson, Mike Neff, and more.
“It was awesome to sit down with Buddy and talk about my life in Funny Cars,” said Morrison. “I am just getting my Funny Car career started, and we talked about what monsters these cars are to drive. Like Buddy, I have driven all sorts of race cars, but Funny Cars are my passion ever since I saw 'Jungle Jim' [Liberman] when I was a little kid.”
Every week throughout the NHRA Countdown, a new episode will air each Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST and 8 p.m. PST prior to NHRA national events for the rest of the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season.
