Erica Enders and Greg Anderson setup a clash of the titans Pro Stock final in Epping
The Pro Stock rivalry that has defined much of the last decade is officially back. After a month-long break in the schedule, Erica Enders and Greg Anderson have powered their way into the final round at the NHRA New England Nationals, setting up a must-see battle between Elite Motorsports and KB Titan Racing.
Enders, who has had a quiet start to the 2025 season, is enjoying a resurgent weekend at New England Dragway. With “Happy Birthday Mark Ingersoll” lettered across the back of her Camaro in tribute to her longtime crew chief, she’s put together one of her grittiest performances yet.
Her semifinal matchup with teammate Aaron Stanfield was anything but straightforward. Both drivers spun the tires at the hit and had to fight for traction in what turned into a classic Pro Stock pedalfest. Enders recovered quicker and muscled her car down the groove, driving like the five-time champ she is.
“I have no idea what’s going on today,” Enders said at the top end, laughing. “But I think it’s a very important turnaround that Elite needed. Epping has always held a special place in our hearts. After our Dodge years, this was where we got our first win together in 2017—me and Chase [Freidman].
Man, we lose a lot of races we should win. And it rarely works out that you win the ones you shouldn't. But I’m stoked, Amanda—it feels like I haven’t been to a final in 27 years. But we’re going!”
On the other side of the ladder, Matt Hartford grabbed the starting-line advantage over Greg Anderson, but it wasn’t enough. Anderson’s smooth, composed run at the top end allowed him to drive around Hartford for the win, showcasing the strength and poise that have made him one of the winningest drivers in class history.
Now, the final is set: Erica Enders vs. Greg Anderson, in a throwback showdown with modern implications. Both veterans. Both champions. And both looking to claim momentum in a season that’s heating up fast.
