An all-star lineup of drag racing royalty will be on hand at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park to help NHRA celebrate the 70th anniversary of its biggest, oldest, and most prestigious event, the Toyota NHRA U.S. Nationals.

Seven-time U.S. Nationals champ Don “the Snake” Prudhomme, the event’s grand marshal, will be joined by fellow Indy winners Shirley Muldowney, Richard Tharp, Darrell Gwynn, Billy Meyer, and Herb McCandless and the first lady of drag racing, Linda Vaughn. Team owners Connie Kalitta and Jim Dunn, also both past U.S. Nationals champions, will also be on hand and in competition with their teams throughout the event.

The group will take part in numerous public events at the race, including autograph sessions, Q&As, and more. Check out the schedule below for your chance to interact with some legends of NHRA Drag Racing.

FRIDAY

• 2 p.m.: Don Prudhomme and Ron Capps, NHRA Insider podcast in the Top Eliminator Club 
• 4 p.m.: Legends Autograph Session at Mission Foods display: Shirley Muldowney, Don Prudhomme, Billy Meyer, Darrell Gwynn, Linda Vaughn, Richard Tharp
• 4 p.m.: Buddy Martin on Nitro Alley Stage
• 4:30 p.m.: Herb McCandless Nitro Alley Stage 
• 5:30 p.m.: Don Prudhomme and Ron Capps autograph session at the Toyota Display 
• 5:30 p.m.: Darrell Gwynn Nitro Alley Stage Q&A 
• 8 p.m.: Billy Meyer trackside interview 

McCandless will also be in the announcer’s booth during all runs of the Sox & Martin Hemi Challenge presented by the McCandless Collection

SATURDAY
