New National Dragster issue spotlights fall events, Sportsman racer features

LOG IN TO READ THE NEW ISSUE

Two drama-filled events, the NHRA Midwest Nationals and the Texas NHRA FallNationals, had seismic effects on the sport and are covered in-depth in the November issue of NHRA National Dragster.  The new issue is now online in digital format and in the mail in its traditional print format to NHRA Members around the world.

In addition to complete coverage of the two events plus the annual JEGS Allstars competition that took place at the FallNationals, the issue also features a trio of intriguing features for fans to sink their teeth into.

Mark Pawuk won the Flexjet NHRA Factory Srock Showdown title at the Midwest Nationals, the first victory in years for the former Pro Stock standout, and we take a look back at his great career in “The Cowboy Rides Again.”

The Hough family, father Brian and son Dylan, have also been making headlines with wins in their respective classes of Top Alcohol Funny Car and Top Dragster this season. Get to know them in our feature, "Down the Line."

The Pro Stock Motorcycle class recently celebrated its 500th event, and we looked back at all of the major competitors and rivalries over the years in a colorful piece called “500 and Counting.”

A trio of interesting columns also provide some insight into the latest news and trends as ND Editor Phil Burgess recounts Erica Enders’ rise to become motorsports’ winningest driver, past world champion Luke Bogacki continues to explore choices for “The Perfect Weapon” in drag racing, and Joe Castello writes in awe of the JEGS Allstars competition.
