The Jim Dunn Racing hauler recently left Southern California to make its way across the U.S. to compete in the season-opening NHRA race in Gainesville this weekend. The team will be sporting new graphics on its hauler, as well as on the Nitro Funny Car that will include Colorado Jack Popcorn.
Through a promotion with Jim Dunn Racing, fans can shop for Colorado Jack Popcorn at any Menards store or purchase it online at www.Menards.com. The popcorn brand currently has four flavors available at Menards, including Caramel, White Cheddar Jalapeno, Kettle Cooked Cinnamon & Sugar, and the original Colorado Mix.
In addition to working with its newly licensed Funny Car driver, Alex Laughlin, Jim Dunn Racing has used the offseason to upgrade equipment and bring a fresh look for fans. The team is ready to get the season started and leave the unusually colder climate of its home base in Southern California for the warmer Sunshine State weather.
“Followers of Jim Dunn Racing and Alex are looking forward to seeing him compete in the Funny Car,” noted Team Manager Jon Dunn. “We are thankful to have great supporters and sponsors joining us at the race in Gainesville, including guests from Colorado Jack Popcorn. The hauler and awning have new graphics, along with Powerbuilt Tools in our pit area, and we have a new souvenir trailer on the midway where fans can pick up team and driver merchandise.”
This season, the team has welcomed several new sponsors with the addition of Laughlin, including Havoline, Hot Wheels, Speed Society, DRP, and 360 Wraps to go with its long-standing partners DiPinto International Logistics, Blaze, KGC, Moon Equipment, Crow Safety Gear, and Lescure.
