The new issue of NHRA National Dragster magazine, spotlighting coverage from the NHRA Arizona nationals and Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals and packed with other features on NHRA racers, is available online and in the mail to NHRA Members around the world.

Tony Stewart’s first win as a team owner with Funny Car driver Matt Hagan is the cover subject to kick off our coverage of the second and third events of the 2022 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season. Both events were packed with highlights and surprise winners, and our award-winning photo coverage brings it all back to life. We’ve also got an interview with Stewart, who shares how meaningful the Gatornationals victory was to him.

The issue is packed with a trio of features on racers you need to learn more about: Top Alcohol Dragster team owner Rich McPhillips, who has tuned six different drivers to victory over the past few seasons; Stock racers Brooke Warren Foley and Steve Foley, whose drag racing lineage has spurred them to their own greatness; and fearless Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Jianna Salinas, who has overcome so much in the last couple of years but keeps on keeping on.

Luke Bogacki, the reigning NHRA Super Gas world champ, shares Part 2 of his introspective “10 Weeks in an RV” adventure, while NHRA announcer Alan Reinhart shares some interesting Pro Stock facts and National Dragster Editor Phil Burgess lets you in on the secrets behind what it took to make the weather-ravaged Gatornationals such a success.

We’ve also got coverage from the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series and the opening event of the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series, the famed March Meet, in tis issue.

On the technical side, we take an in-depth look at racing seats, which are so much more than just a place to park your body.
