Lescure provides two-race sponsorship for Jim Dunn Racing on Western Swing
Bay Area-based Lescure, a complete mechanical services company, has been named primary sponsor of the Jim Dunn Racing team for the Sonoma and Seattle NHRA national events. A longtime supporter of the team, the Lescure family enjoys attending NHRA races when they are not working on large-scale job sites.
The Jim Dunn-owned Funny Car with driver Jim Campbell currently sits in 11th position in the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series standings, just 70 points out of the Top 10. Last year’s race in Sonoma produced consistent low four-second elapsed times averaging near 320 mph for the team, a goal they are looking to repeat this weekend.
Joining Lescure for additional support are ALO Drink, a popular Northern California company that is found in grocery and convenience retailers throughout the U.S., and ChocoWafers from Our Savorite Foods. The ChocoWafer logo was on the team’s Funny Car at the start of the season, promoting their products, which have a new shipment of product going into Menards stores throughout the Midwest this week.
