The new issue of NHRA National Dragster magazine, spotlighting coverage from the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals and packed with other features on NHRA Sportsman racers, is available online and in the mail to NHRA Members around the world.

We’ve got wall-to-wall-to-wall-to-wall coverage of the wild event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, including an interview with cover subject Ron Capps about his huge victory, his first as a team owner, and coverage of every class from Top Fuel to Top Sportsman.

Sportsman features? You want them? We’ve got them. The National Dragster writers focus in on the efforts of dual-class threat Marko Perivolaris and sister Lela, take a look at the new Joint Venture Comp car of Ryan Warter and explore his family’s deep history in the class, and have a little fun with Ross and Holden Laris. We’ve also got an interesting feature on how Top Fuel racer and former Super Comp ace Shawn Langdon is helping coach the next generation of Super-class racers.

We’ve also got a salute to former Chief Starter Rick Stewart, who passed away April 1.

National Dragster Editor Phil Burgess and NHRA on FOX’s Brian Lohnes both drop the F-word in their columns, but it’s not what you think. Burgess takes time to salute NHRA’s great fans, and Lohnes delves into the question about just how much fun is enough (or not enough) when it comes to winning.

Our Jr. Drag Racing League coverage continues with a look at rising star Jonathan McClain and also offers a preview of the Western Conference Finals.

We’ve also got more race coverage with NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series action from Thunder Valley Raceway Park in Division 4 and NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series coverage from Sacramento, Calif.

Our popular Racing Technology column shifts gears a little for this issue and takes a thoughtful look at things you should be packing in your trailer that maybe you don’t. Be prepared!
