Josh Hart, who earlier this season won the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals in his Top Fuel debut, will carry the colors of R+L Carriers for next week’s Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals in Norwalk. The R+L Carriers Top Fuel dragster will make its debut during Friday night qualifying.
“I'm proud to have R+L Carriers join our team for Norwalk to provide their employees with recognition and appreciation,” said Hart, who is a leading contender for the NHRA Rookie of the Year award. “They are a family-owned business and operate very similar to the values I run my businesses and race team.”
In addition to his Gainesville victory, Hart raced in the final round of the recent four-wide event in Charlotte. He has competed in just four of six events but has a very respectable 7-3 record in elimination rounds and is ranked No. 8 in the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series Top Fuel standings.
Hart’s partnership with R+L Carriers is a natural fit for the Norwalk event because the R+L Service Center is located adjacent to Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park.
Prior to the race on Monday, June 21, from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m., R+L Carriers will host Hart at their Norwalk Service Center for a hiring open house. Prospective employees are encouraged to stop by the facility for a chance to start a new career and win NHRA tickets. R+L Carriers is hiring for CDL Class A & B Local and OTR Truck Driver, Forklift Operator, Dispatcher, Security Officer, and Clerical positions. The R+L Carriers Service Center is located across the street from Summit Racing Motorsports Park, 1403 St. Rt. 18 E, Norwalk, Ohio 44857.
