Randal Andras, who over the last season has emerged as one of the big threats to the Jay Turner Racing domination of the class, repeated his U.S. Nationals final-round triumph over two-time world champ Tii Tharpe in the final round of the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals to take the early points lead in Mickey Thompson Tires Top Fuel Harley.

Andras rode a long wheelie and landed awkwardly but kept the bike upright to take the victory over Tharpe’s Turner-owned entry.
