NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle rider John Hall has been working to support his local community through his business, Orange, Conn.-based Dichello Distributors.
The company, of which Hall is the president, has made a $5,000 donation to the Connecticut Food Bank’s effort to alleviate hunger in Connecticut by providing food resources, raising awareness of the challenges of hunger, and advocating for people who need help meeting basic needs
The company also has purchased $2,500 in local restaurant gift cards that were donated to Connoisseur Media’s “Cards for Caregivers” program to support local caregivers working tirelessly during this crisis and donated coupons for First Responders to redeem for a beverage selection of their choice at local retail liquor stores.
They’ve also been donating cases of HiBall Sparkling Energy Water to local hospital and healthcare workers and HiBall, Foxon Park Soda, Arizona Iced Tea, and Heineken 0.0 Alcohol Free Beer to 28 local fire stations and donated Teavana Tea to The Ronald McDonald House to provide family members of patients with complimentary beverages.
Dichello Distributors will continue to evaluate opportunities to make a positive impact in the communities in which we live and work while keeping the health and wellness of its associates and partners at the center of its decisions.
Our priorities and commitments as a company remain steady as we address COVID-19,” the company said in a statement. “We have implemented many precautions that will allow us to continue to serve our customers, while keeping the health and safety of our staff and community at heart. Dichello Distributors and the Hall family have a long history of supporting our communities, partners and employees during times of need; and this time is no different. Of course, supporting our communities at this time in particular would not be possible without the dedication and tireless efforts of our employees and supplier partners.”
