Jay Turner runs fastest-ever speed, wins NHRA Arizona Nationals title
Former world champ Jay Turner got back into the winner’s circle in the Mickey Thompson Tires Top Fuel Harley Series, defeating red-lighting Rickey House in the final round of the NHRA Arizona Nationals. It was Turner's first win since last year's Houston event.
Turner set low e.t. and top speed of the meet, 6.193 at 237.75 in a first-round conquest of teammate Tii Tharpe. The speed was the fastest ever recorded in the series.
