The Sowing Seeds for Life of La Verne [Calif.] event held Wednesday on the Auto Club Raceway at Pomona dragstrip was a huge success as more than 2,100 cars lined up on the fabled dragstrip at the Pomona Fairplex for a drive-up food pantry that provided boxes of much-needed items for families. Drivers waited in their cars, then popped their trunks to receive boxes packed with food.

The event will continue every Wednesday through mid-May.
