Steve Torrence leads Top Fuel following Q2 at Menards NHRA Heartland Nationals
Steve Torrence secured another three bonus points by making the best pass of the second qualifying session at the Menards NHRA Heartland Nationals presented by Minties. He ran a 3.76 at 325.45 mph to edge his dad, Billy Torrence, who made a 3.765 effort at 323.58. Auto Club of Southern California Road to the Future Award candidate Austin Prock rounded out the top three with a 3.783.
