Did you think the Capco Contractors team led by driver Steve Torrence would slow down in 2019? Neither did the rest of us. If you're more of the Funny Car persuasion, don't worry, the Yella Fellas and driver J.R. Todd held their own just fine during the Thursday edition of NHRA preseason testing. If a picture is worth a thousand words, and this image contains 10,000 horsepower... wait, am I supposed to write 10,000,000 words about horsepower?

Shawn Langdon will race in Funny Car for the second season -- this time with Del Worsham as his co-crew chief. Can that bring a second-straight title to Kalitta Motorsports?

Steve Torrence said his father, Billy, winning in Brainerd last year was one of his fondest memories from 2018. That's probably because it didn't come at his expense.
