Racing begins in earnest at the NHRA New England Nationals with Sportsman cars on the track at 9:15 a.m. thanks to Mother Nature's interference Saturday afternoon. Mello Yello pro racing kicks off with Top Fuel at 11 a.m. Eastern and will be followed by Funn Cary, Mountain Motor Pro Stock and Mickey Thompson Top Fuel Harley.

Clay Millican put his Parts Plus / Laris Motorsports Insurance Top Fuel dragster in pole position for the second time in 2019. He's chasing his first win of the season, which would also mark his first win since reuniting with Mike Kloeber at the beginning of the campaign. The two have done a lot of winning at this track, but never in NHRA competition.

Defending world champion J.R. Todd earned his third Funny Car pole and also picked up a bye run in the first round He has one victory on the season, which came back in April at the Denso Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals in Las Vegas. The DHL Toyota Camry has been solid all weekend, but will battle different conditions as the track is expected to be cool on Sunday.

You can catch the next FS1 television broadcast at 1 p.m. Eastern. All the action is broadcast live on NHRA.tv, and the full TV schedule is available here at any time.
