Race fans with tickets will be able to enjoy the concert for free on Friday, October 13 and a $5 ticket discount will be offered for tickets sold after 5 p.m. on Friday at the NHRA facility located on Highway 287 between Ennis and Waxahachie.

“We are excited to have Cory Morrow perform at the NHRA AAA Texas Fall Nationals. This is really a double benefit for fans,” said Texas Motorplex General Manager Andy Carter. “We should have a huge crowd on Friday so race fans can enjoy some great Texas Country music and let the traffic free up and it is also a great chance for country music fans to get to see some racing action before one of the hottest names in country takes the stage.

Morrow’s most recent album The Good Fight, is a 15-song collection recorded at East Austin’s 12th Street Sound and polished at the Zone Recording Studio in nearby Dripping Springs, Texas.

He was ranked No. 7 among “country debut artists” that year by SoundScan,

Influenced by Robert Earl Keen, Willie, Waylon, Merle, Led Zeppelin, Bob Seger, Tom Petty and many more, Morrow will bring his unique style to the Texas Motorplex after two sessions of qualifying during the fourth race of the NHRA Countdown.
