Reigning NHRA Mello Yello Funny Car champ Del Worsham has been around Funny Cars since he was a youngster, hanging out and helping his father, Chuck, on the family Funny Cars and watching the racers and racing from the sidelines before graduating to the cockpit himself at the final event of the 1990 season.

As a child of the 1970s, Worsham grew up in an exciting and influential period in the class, so it's no surprise that his earliest heroes and some of his favorite cars come from that decade.
