As the only four-lane event on the tour, the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals presented by Lowes Foods always delivers exciting and sometimes crazy action as drivers line up four wide and battle for supremacy. This year's event at zMAX Dragway was no exception, featuring new track records in Funny Car, crazy lane swaps, a couple of starting-line miscues, and more. When all was said and done, Brittany Force continued her early season performance surge, outlasting a strong quad that included Antron Brown, Doug Kalitta, and Clay Millican to win her second Top Fuel Wally just two races after she picked up her first, in Gainesville.

After Las Vegas winner Alexis DeJoria dominated qualifying and looked primed for another victory, Tim Wilkerson's car came to life in eliminations, pacing every round of competition en route to his second win of the season. Another highlight of Funny Car eliminations was the first career round-win for Jeff Diehl in his 36th race-day start. Diehl finished second in his stout opening round quad that included DeJoria and Gainesville champ Robert Hight, both of whom smoked the tires and lost to Diehl and Wilkerson.

Though there were a couple of surprises along the way, including first-round wins by Kenny Delco and Deric Kramer, when the dust settled in Pro Stock, a familiar face was back in the winner's circle. Jason Line, who has appeared in every elimination round this season, picked up win No. 3 for 2016.

A familiar face was also in the Pro Stock Motorcycle winner's circle. Andrew Hines won this event for the third straight year, outlasting teammate and No. 1 qualifier Eddie Krawiec for the title.

The Sportsman ranks also had a number of great storylines, including David Rampy collecting his 90th win, but the biggest came from one of its newest drivers. Rising star Megan Meyer, racing in just her second national event, outlasted the field to win her first in Top Alcohol Dragster.
