Youth and Education

The NHRA Youth and Education Services (YES) Program presented by the U.S. Army was founded in 1989. It is the only full-time education program in motorsports that provides quality programs and activities for schools and youth organizations nationwide. Not only is the YES Program FREE, it focuses on the importance of goals and continued education, while allowing students to learn about and explore various career opportunities. The program will show students how S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is applied to both, real world situations and NHRA Drag Racing, which they will have the opportunity to see live at the track. For more information, check the Y.E.S Program below.

YES Program

First Responders

Throughout the 2017 season, the NHRA will pay tribute to the legion of first responders, the heroes who are among the first people to arrive and assist at the scene of an emergency.

NHRA Salutes First Responders will honor medical professionals, law-enforcement officers, firefighters, members of the armed forces, and a number of other professions charged with the safety and well-being of the public, much like the Safety Safari is charged with the safety and well-being of the racing community.

As part of the tribute, first responders will be eligible for discounted tickets to the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals through GovX. Click here to purchase.

Event Info

The NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series makes its first of two stops at fabulous zMAX Dragway — the self-proclaimed “Bellagio of dragstrips” — with the spectacle of four-wide racing in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle. The site, which also has hosted an NHRA national event in mid-September since 2008, is famous for its fan amenities and side-by-side dragstrips, which have been recently resurfaced.

As always, fans will have the opportunity to interact with their favorite drivers, as Every Ticket's a Pit Pass® at the most powerful and sensory-filled motorsports attraction on the planet! Get direct access to the teams, see firsthand as the highly-skilled mechanics service their hot rods between rounds, and get autographs from your favorite NHRA drivers.

Tickets can be purchased online by clicking the TICKETS button above or by calling 800-455-FANS (3267). Purchase early and save!
