Jack Beckman is 31 - 3 in Rd. 1 when #1 qualifier. This is Joe Morrison's 1st start since Reading, 2025 Morrison with the starting line advantage, but the car went silent by half track. Beckman with the lead by the time they go by the Christmas tree and never trailed from there on for the win. He make the second quickest pass of the weekend for the win. Morrison with his quickest pass of the weekend in the losing effort.

Jordan Vandergriff is 5 - 1 in Rd. 1 this year. Dave Richards is making his 83rd start Vandergriff with the starting line advantage and is straight down the groove for the win. He will give up lane choice to Green in the next round. Richards was up in smoke and sideways right at the hit and clicked it off.

Cruz Pedregon is 40 - 6 in Rd. 1 when qualified #2. Del Worsham's 513 FC round wins are tied for 7th most in the class history. Pedregon is 27 - 17 against Worsham in prior events. Worsham with the starting line advantage, but the car went silent and the chutes were out around 800 feet. Pedregon was able to chase Worsham down right in the lights for the win. He was spin his tires right in the light but got the win.

Matt Hagan's 1 - 9 record against Prock is his worst against any driver (minimum 5 races). This is the 1st time these two have met in Rd. 1. Prock with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. He makes his quickest pass of the weekend for the win. He will have lane choice over Hyde in the next round. Hagan dropped a cylinder just before half track and the engine let go with a quick fireball.

Her 30 round losses to Capps are the most for Alexis DeJoria against any opponent. Ron Capps is 12 - 4 against Alexis in Rd. 1 Capps with the starting line advantage and he makes his quickest pass of the weekend for the win. Ron Capps' MOV: 0.0313 seconds (approximately 15 feet). He will have lane choice over Pedregon in the next round. DeJoria is straight down the groove with her second quickest pass of the weekend in the losing effort.

In FC J.R. Todd is 226 - 177 in Rd. 1. Blake Alexander is 1 - 11 in Rd. 1 against Todd. Todd is 12 - 2 against Alexander in prior events. Alexander with the starting line advantage, but drives into tire smoke and clicked it off. Todd is straight down the groove, just off his qualifying time for the win. He will give up lane choice to Beckman in the next round.
