Clay Millican was 15 - 5 in Rd. 1 last year. Josh Hart beat Clay Millican in Rd. 1 here in 2021 and went on to win the race. Millican is 6 - 5 against Hart in prior events. Hart with a couple ticks on the tree. Millican shook right off the starting line and pedaled it and got it to hook up and take the win. Hart was up in smoke early and clicked it off.

Brittany Force was 12 - 6 (66.6%) in Rd. 1 last year, her lowest record since she was 11 - 13 in 2018. Tony Stewart's .021 reaction time in Rd. 1 here last year was the best R/T of the entire TF eliminations. Stewart is 2 - 0 against Force in prior events. Stewart with a couple ticks on the tree and never trailed for the win. Force is up in smoke right at the hit and clicked it off

Shawn Langdon 17 - 5 in Rd. 1 when qualified #3. Justin Ashley was 3 - 5 against Langdon in 2024. Ashley is 12 - 10 against Langdon in prior events. Ashley with the starting line advantage, but shook and pedaled it. He had cylinders out and pedaled it a couple more times before the engine went silent. Langdon was up in smoke right at the hit and pedaled it. Langdon got it to hook up enough to get the win. He will give up lane choice to Stewart in the next round.

This is the 1st time Antron Brown has qualified #1 based on speed. The last time the #16 TF qualifier won a round here was 2016 (C. Karamesines) This is the first time Brown and Baldwin have faced each other in eliminations. Brown with the starting line advantage and lost traction and got it to hooked up enough to get the win. Brown will give up lane choice to Millican in the next round. Baldwin lost traction right at the hit and pedals it a couple times, but can't get it to hook up before she clicked it off.

Doug Kalitta was 14 - 5 in Rd. 1 last year. Ida Zetterstrom was 0 - 2 against Kalitta in 2024. Kalitta is 1 - 0 against Zetterstrom in prior events. Kalitta with starting line advantage, but was up in smoke and pedaled it. He pedaled it a couple times down the track. The engine starting eating it self up on the top end, but held on for the win. Zetterstrom was up in smoke right at the hit and pedaled it a couple time, but couldn't get it to hook up.
