Two-time 2026 NHRA Funny Car race winner Chad Green will be sporting local colors this weekend (July 24-26) when Rottler Manufacturing of Kent, Wash., will serve as the primary sponsor of Green’s 330-mile-per-hour drag racing machine in the Muckleshoot Casino Resort NHRA Northwest Nationals at Pacific Raceways.

Rottler Inc., specializing in innovative product development and high-volume production remanufacturing, has been a sponsor with Green’s nitro-burning race car for several years and hopes to celebrate in the Northwest Nationals winner’s circle on Sunday. Green has already captured two NHRA national events with race wins at the NHRA Gatornationals and Route 66 NHRA Nationals and is in the battle for the coveted NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series world championship.

Green currently ranks sixth in the NHRA Mission Foods Funny Car points standings after 11 events of the 20-race national tour, and the Texas businessman/racer seeks a third victory of the season in the Northwest’s biggest racing event of the year.

“We are very excited to have Rottler back on our Ford Mustang this weekend at Seattle,” said Green. “They have been a great partner with Chad Green Motorsports over the years, and I would love to put them in the winner’s circle at their home race. It won’t be easy as this NHRA Funny Car class is so competitive and always tough to get through four rounds. But we feel our car can win this weekend. Our crew has been working hard to be consistent and make solid runs. I think we have a good combination for the Northwest Nationals.”

Alexander, a four-time NHRA national event winner in his career, returns to Pacific Raceways after impressive performances there in recent years. The Charlotte racer looks for his first NHRA national win since 2024 (Brainerd) and believes his CGM Pronto crew has been improving with each event. Hunter Green has shared the Alexander-driven car at select races in 2026.

“I’m anxious to compete in Seattle this year,” said Alexander. “We have had some good races there in the past, and the track is always fast. With the trees near the track, the nitro cars can produce more horsepower. And the crews really get up for the Seattle race. Our CGM guys are doing a good job with our cars this year, and I think we can contend if things go our way.”
