The March 2024 issue of NHRA National Dragster, including complete coverage of the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals and Sportsman features, is now online in digital format and in the mail in its traditional print format to NHRA Members around the world.

In addition to nearly 30 pages of coverage from the season opener in Gainesville, including the Pep Boys All-Star Callout and everything else that made the event a huge success, the issue also includes coverage from both the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series on the divisional level and the Good Vibrations March Meet, the season opener for the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series.

Comp racer David Eaton and multiclass Sportsman car and car builder Danny Nelson are both profiled in this issue, sharing their career stories, highlights, and racing philosophies, and we also took a deep dive with Brian Husen, who shares his journey from crewmember to winning Top Fuel crew chief at the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals in our “Five Minutes With” interview.

Super Street racer Ronnie Blanks also filed an emotional first-person story with us about his Super Street win at the Division 2 Lucas Oil event at Gainesville Raceway, which he dedicated to his late son. ND Senior Editor Kevin McKenna also unveils the first in a regular series called “Racer of the Month.” Who won? You’ll have to check out the issue for yourself.

ND Editor Phil Burgess focuses his "Launch Pad" column on the pursuit of 50 career wins by both Matt Hagan and Erica Enders and reaps the short list of those who have reached that milestone. Past world champ Luke Bogacki shares more secrets to dragstrip success in his "Science of Winning" column, while Elon Werner talks about the social side of the Gatornationals and all of the other Gator Goodness that went on in his regular "Behind the Ropes" column.

The issue also is the rollout of the 2024 Be A Winner, Be A Member program that highlights prizes that NHRA Members can win if they enjoy success at their local member track.

And, bringing up the rear – literally – technical editor at large Evan Smith goes deep into the science of race-car rear ends: What it takes to build and maintain them for ultimate performance and longevity.
