All-star lineup of drivers to appear at NHRA Fan Fest on July 18 in Auburn

With an impressive list of drivers, including racing legend and Top Fuel rookie Tony Stewart, the NHRA FanFest presented by Explore Auburn is back and officially kicks off the race weekend for the 35th annual NHRA Northwest Nationals at Pacific Raceways.

With an impressive list of drivers, including racing legend and Top Fuel rookie Tony Stewart, the NHRA FanFest presented by Explore Auburn is back and officially kicks off the race weekend for the 35th annual NHRA Northwest Nationals at Pacific Raceways.

The event takes place from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday in front of Dave & Buster’s at The Outlet Collection (1101 Outlet Collection Dr. SW, Auburn, WA 98001), with autographs and a meet and greet with NHRA standouts taking place from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

The list of drivers scheduled to appear includes Stewart, Top Fuel standouts Shawn Langdon, Justin Ashley, Josh Hart and Leah Pruett, Funny Car’s Daniel Wilkerson, Buddy Hull and Dave Richards, Pro Stock Motorcycle riders Chase Van Sant, Chris Bostick and more.

The NHRA FanFest will also include a Drag & Drive Hot Rod Show, car displays, live music and door prizes. Race fans can also purchase tickets to the weekend’s NHRA Northwest Nationals at Pacific Raceways, which kicks off with nitro under the lights on Friday for the first time in Seattle history, continues with the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge on Saturday and eliminations on Sunday.

This weekend also marks the first time in history that all four professional classes (Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle) will compete at Pacific Raceways in the same weekend.

Last season, Steve Torrence (Top Fuel), Tim Wilkerson (Funny Car) and Gaige Herrera (Pro Stock Motorcycle) all won in Seattle and this year’s race will be shown on FS1 and the FOX, including eliminations on FOX at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday, July 21. It is the 11th of 20 races during the 2024 NHRA season, kicking off the second half of the season.

NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series qualifying will feature two rounds at 3:30 p.m. and 8:15 PT on Friday, July 19 and two rounds of qualifying on Saturday, July 20 at 1:30 and 3:45 p.m. Final eliminations are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. PT on Sunday, July 21. Television coverage includes qualifying action on FS1 at 10:30 p.m. ET on Friday, 1 p.m. on Sunday, and then eliminations on FOX at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday.
