Cornwell Quality Tools, an industry leader in tool manufacturing and distribution, has been named the Official Professional Tools of NHRA for the 2022 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season.

The new partnership, which is part of a multi-year agreement, will give Cornwell Tools an extensive on-site presence at each NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series event, including a new Cornwell Tools inflatable on the top end, trackside signage, commercial spots on the NHRA jumbotron, PA announcements and more.

With more than 800 franchisees across the nation, Cornwell Tools will also have franchisees displaying at multiple events on the popular NHRA Manufacturers Midway during the 2022 season, where they will be able to offer information and answer questions about becoming a successful Cornwell Tools franchisee.

“We are thrilled with this partnership and to be recognized as the Official Professional Tools of the NHRA,” said Bob Studenic, President and CEO of Cornwell Quality Tools. “A large number of NHRA race fans are also professional mechanics and customers of our independent franchise dealers. That presents several exciting prospects for the 2022 season, and we look forward to growing our partnership with NHRA, which has an exciting on-track product, a huge number of dynamic personalities and an incredibly passionate fanbase.”

Along with a strong on-site presence, Cornwell Tools will receive support from NHRA through multiple channels, including television broadcasts, social media and more. As the Official Professional Tools of NHRA, the Cornwell Tools Crew Chief Confidential segment will be integrated in NHRA television broadcasts on FOX and Fox Sports 1 (FS1). The company, which was founded in 1919, will also reach fans through television spots and logo exposure during each NHRA television broadcast, social media interaction and dedicated e-blasts.

We’re really excited to add a company with such a strong track record like Cornwell Tools to the NHRA family as the Official Professional Tools of NHRA,” said Brad Gerber, NHRA vice president and chief development officer. “We’re looking forward to using multiple channels and a variety of unique platforms to showcase their high-quality products to the NHRA fanbase.”

The new relationship with NHRA will also support Cornwell Tools’ long-term partnership with John Force Racing, giving the company an increased footprint in drag racing. John Force Racing has enjoyed a spectacular start to the 2022 season thanks to a pair of victories from three-time Funny Car world champion Robert Hight and is recognized as one of the most successful teams in the sport, while Cornwell Tools has established a successful track record that dates back more than 100 years.

Cornwell Tools is the oldest mobile tool manufacturer and distributor in the country, using high-grade alloy steel, combined with modern heat-treating methods to produce its vast line of high-quality tools.

“This is our 103rd year in business and as a partner of the 21-time NHRA world champion John Force Racing team since 2019, we have seen the tremendous excitement NHRA championship drag racing brings to its fans,” Studenic said. “That same level of excitement is evident within the Cornwell Tools organization, which makes the ‘Official Professional Tools’ partnership with NHRA a perfect pairing.”
