Nevada-based Aggretek Construction and Mining Equipment will sponsor fast-rising NHRA Funny Car racer Alex Miladinovich and the M12 Racing team at the Denso Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals April 16-18 at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Aggretek, which provides aggregate processing equipment, water recycling, and waste management technology for the production of construction aggregates, will fly its colors on the flanks of Miladinovich’s fan-favorite Hot 4 Teacher Toyota at the event, which will mark the 2021 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season debut for the Orange, Calif.-based team.

“Aggretek is proud to team up with Alex Miladinovich and the Hot 4 Teacher team,” said Eric Amberson, president of Aggregate Technologies Group. “As a manufacturer of rock crushing and aggregate processing equipment, we feel the correlation between our fast-paced exciting industry and the world of NHRA nitro racing go hand in hand. We believe the team’s dedication and tenacity parallel our business principles and practices. We are very excited for the 2021 NHRA season and look forward to watching Alex crush the competition (see what we did there?).”

After years of campaigning on the Nostalgia Funny Car circuit, Miladinovich burst into the national spotlight last year by qualifying for the 2020 season-opening Winternationals in his NHRA Professional debut. An emotion-fueled television interview that showcased his humble and grateful nature and the roots of his family-run operation quickly went viral, and he was embraced by fellow racers and fans alike.

He went on to compete at three more events during the COVID-19-shortened 2020 season, setting the stage for a wider campaign in 2021 that will concentrate on the West Coast but may expand into the Midwest with additional funding.

“I am extremely proud to kick off the new season with Aggretek on our team,” said Miladinovich. “Building a strong team from scratch always starts with a first step. The NHRA family has been amazing at welcoming our team to the Funny Car ranks. We look forward to having Aggretek on board. We have the right team in place, and we are ready for 2021!”
