Tickets are on sale for the first events of the 2021 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season, including the year-opening Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals, which will kick off NHRA’s 70th-anniversary celebration March 11-14 in Gainesville, Fla., and the NHRA Southern Nationals March 26-28 in Atlanta.
Other events already on sale include the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals presented by Protect The Harvest, which this year will launch April 9-11 in Pomona, Calif., and the NHRA New England Nationals, June 11-13 in Epping, N.H. The events in Gainesville and Epping will feature pro qualifying on both Friday and Saturday; the Atlanta and Pomona events will have qualifying only on Saturday.
During the yearlong 70th anniversary fans will experience special treats and features along the tour to commemorate this important milestone and honor the NHRA’s vast history.
The fabled Gatornationals, home to so many great moments in NHRA history, will enjoy another historic moment when it launches the season for the first time. Since 1961, the NHRA season has always begun on the West Coast with the Winternationals, but this year the Winternationals will occupy the third spot on the schedule. The Southern Nationals, which will celebrate its 40th anniversary this year, fits nicely between the two.
The Epping event, hosted at famed New England Dragway in June, is the middle leg of what will be a crucial three-race “Eastern Swing.”
Kids 12 and under are free in general admission areas with a paid adult at all of the above events. Military and First Responders save 20% online through GovX at these events
