There was not much movement in the Pro Stock class but that wasn’t the case for their two-wheel counterparts as the top spot swapped a couple of times. Matt Smith took the lead from Friday’s low qualifier Eddie Krawiec with a 6.819 run on his Denso EBR. Smith also recorded a 200-mph run at Route 66 Raceway. Moments later, Krawiec moved back into the lead by riding his Harley-Davidson Street Rod to a 6.801. Krawiec grabbed three bonus points while Smith got two and Andrew Hines got one after after a 6.835.

Another notable performance came from Smth’s wife, Angie, who rode her Denso-backed entry to a 6.865, her best run of the event. With one run remaining, a total of 12 bikes have carded six second elapsed times.
