DeFlorian won the first Mountain Motor Pro Stock race of the season, contested at the Mopar NHRA SpringNationals in Houston back in April. Chris Powers won the second MMPS event and is currently qualified in the No. 4 position on the back of a 6.381.

Former Pro Stock racers JR Carr and Vincent Nobile are both on the outside of the field looking in as neither made it down the track in the third qualifying session. Nobile hooked hard to the right in his John Watford-owned machine and got out of the throttle before coasting to the finish line.
The fourth and final qualifying session of Mountain Motor Pro Stock is set for 2:35 p.m. Eastern. You can catch it love on NHRA.tv.
