Greg Anderson

Greg Anderson booked a spot in his first final round of 2019, the 155th of his career, and is hunting his 92nd win. He ran a 6.609-second elapsed time, just .002-second off the best time of race day. The track temperature dipped slightly and should continue to drop as the final round nears at the Virginia NHRA Nationals.

He’ll face Bo Butner who hopes to continue his dominant run in Pro Stock in 2019. He made the best run of race day with a 6.602-second pass and defeated Jeg Coughlin Jr., who ran nearly identical to his second-round elapsed time. That wasn’t good enough to unseat three-time 2019 winner Butner.

Butner will have lane choice against Anderson, who both employ engines out of K.B. Racing – the same shop that supplied power to No. 1 qualifier Jason Line. Butner is also still in competition in the SAMTech.edu Factory Stock Showdown.
