K.B Racing tightened its grip on Pro Stock during the second qualifying session. Jason Line ripped the early part of the track at Virginia Motorsports Park and continued to make great power all the way down the strip. His 6.563 earned him another three points and has him in line for the pole at the Virginia NHRA Nationals.

He’s ahead of Greg Anderson, who earned another two points, after running a 6.578. Bo Butner ran another 6.58 (yes, exactly the same number he ran in Q1) to score a bonus point. Deric Kramer moved up from No. 14 to No. 4 to join his K.B. Racing-powered pals at the top of the heap.

That’s where the Elite Performance team jumped into the frame. Matt Hartford and Jeg Coughlin Jr. round out the top six at the end of the first day of racing. You can see the full qualifying sheet here.
