WATCH: Pro Mod drivers walk away from round one incidents in Topeka

Pro Mod racers Jeremy Ray, Steven Whiteley, and Todd Tutterow were involved in on-track incidents during the first round of the Menards NHRA Heartland Nationals presented by Minties.

Pro Mod racer Jeremy Ray of Lugoff, S.C. was involved in an on-track incident during the first round of eliminations at the Menard’s NHRA Heartland Nationals presented by Minties. Ray’s ’63 Corvette skidded and rolled into the guard wall. Ray exited under his own power and was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Moments later, Pro Mod drivers Todd Tutterow of Lewisville, N.C. and Steven Whiteley of Grand Junction, Colo., were involved in a separate on-track indcident. Tutterow’s ’68 Camaro, in the left lane, crossed into the right lane after the finish line and made contact with Whiteley’s car. Both drivers exited under their own power and returned to their pit areas.
