The 2019 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series begins the second of its season at the NHRA New England Nationals in Epping, New Hampshire.

The second half of the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing season begins with the NHRA New England Nationals in Epping, New Hampshire with a full day of qualifying. That day begins with Sportsman racing begins at 9:15 a.m. and will wrap up with a pair of nitro sessions in the evening. . 

Racing will feature the final stop on the Mountain Motor Pro Stock tour, another round of action in Mickey Thompson Top Fuel Harley and qualifying in Funny Car and Top Fuel. The first round of Mountain Motor Pro Stock begins at 3:45 and leads into the pro sessions.  

Steve Torrence enters the weekend as the Top Fuel leader and the defending event champion. He also won the championship in 2018 and figures to be the favorite in New England. Bob Tasca III comes back home with back-to-back Wallys in tow and would love nothing more than to win at his home track for the first time in his career.
