With 10 four-wide races in the history books, some trends have emerged. For example, Steve Torrence and Andrew Hines are both really good at it but Eddie Krawiec could use a little final-round luck.

Hines, coming off his win at the Pro Stock Motorcycle season opener at Gainesville, was probably excited that the four-wides were next. Although the bikes did not run at the inaugural four-wide race last year here in Las Vegas, Pro Stock Motorcycle’s winningest is the most successful racer in four-wide history, with three wins, a runner-up, and third-place finish in the eight times that the bikes have gone four-wide.

His Harley-Davidson teammate, Eddie Krawiec, is still looking for his first four-wide win, but he has five runner-ups. 

On the nitro side, Steve Torrence is on a four-wide hot streak, having win the last three straight, sweeping both Vegas and Charlotte last year and winning in Charlotte in 2018. He also was runner-up in 2015 to good pal Antron Brown.

Brown is the only driver to “hit for the cycle” in four-wide racing, owning a finish in each of the four spots, including two wins, a runner-up, two thirds, and a fourth.

Doug Kalitta has been in six of the 10 four-wide Top Fuel finals, but has never won, chalking up two runner-ups, two third-place finishes, and two fourth-place results.

Among current racers, Greg Anderson, Jack Beckman, and Robert Hight each have won the four-wide twice; Anderson also has a pair of runner-ups and a third-place finish in his ledger.
